Editorial ecosystem & content strategy

Vogue Italia was more than a digital magazine. The platform brought together fashion news, runway coverage, branded content, and editorial storytelling within a unified experience designed to balance inspiration, discovery, and engagement.

Particular attention was given to content hierarchy, navigation systems, and scalable editorial components capable of supporting the evolving needs of one of the world's leading fashion publications.

Vogue Italia — mobile experience

Mobile-first experience

As audience behaviors increasingly shifted toward mobile, the experience was redesigned around a mobile-first approach. Navigation, content consumption, and visual storytelling were optimized to support quick exploration while preserving the editorial richness and visual identity of the brand.

The result was a more fluid experience across devices, allowing users to seamlessly move between articles, galleries, fashion shows, and community-driven content.

Vogue Community

Beyond editorial publishing, Vogue Italia expanded into a broader ecosystem of community-driven experiences. The platform connected readers, photographers, designers, and editors through dedicated environments designed to encourage participation, content contribution, and talent discovery.

This ecosystem became the foundation for initiatives such as PhotoVogue and Upload Your Show.

PhotoVogue

PhotoVogue is a global photography community where emerging and established photographers can showcase their work, build a public portfolio, and gain visibility through editorial curation.

The project involved rethinking information architecture, search and discovery mechanisms, photographer profiles, and community navigation to support a growing international audience while strengthening the connection between editorial content and user-generated creativity.

Upload Your Show

Created within Vogue Talents, Upload Your Show gave emerging fashion designers the opportunity to contribute directly to Vogue's digital ecosystem by publishing runway content through a moderated workflow.

The experience was designed around a complete submission journey, allowing designers to create galleries, manage content, preview their work, and submit it for editorial review before publication.

Community Moderation & Publishing

Behind the public experience, dedicated editorial tools were designed to support moderation, content management, and publishing workflows.

These interfaces enabled editors to review submissions, manage contributors, curate galleries, and maintain quality standards across community-generated content, creating a seamless connection between participation and editorial oversight.
